Apart from good restaurants and cafes to satisfy every craving you have, Coogee also has a long list of bars and pubs. Chill and grab post-surf drinks or party it up until the wee hours of the morning. Whatever your choice of drink is, below are the best Coogee bars you can visit for a glass or two (or six)! We also included five bars in Randwick, a suburb just outside of Coogee, as a bonus for those times you want to explore outside the coastal suburb.

Coogee Bars Best Atmosphere: Coogee Pavilion

Google “drinks in Coogee” and the first thing that will pop-up on your screen is this enormous and trendy restaurant and bar with the best sweeping ocean views. The ground floor is open to all kinds of people, families with children included. It serves burgers, pizzas, salads and a variety of seafood dishes. It also has a giant Scrabble board, a ping-pong table, and a small theatre. When you go upstairs on the Coogee Pavilion Rooftop, it becomes an adult-only destination with a view that will knock you out of your chair. Visit on weekdays between 5 pm and 7 pm for $15 pizzas, $7 pints and $6 schooners. Their recently-opened Pimm’s Oyster House also has a happy hour between 2 pm and 4 pm every Friday to Sunday and offers a Pimm’s cup and two oysters for $14.
