Bokor Mountain Tour: Motorbiking Adventure

Bokor Mountain Scooter Tour

  • Discover Bokor Mountain with an experienced guide
  • Ride through the lush jungle along Bokor Mountain’s winding roads
  • Explore old, abandoned colonial buildings
  • Visit a beautiful waterfall
  • Learn fascinating Bokor Mountain history

Bokor Hill Station, located in Bokor National Park, is a collection of luxurious French colonial buildings at the top of the mountain, originally built as a lavish mountain resort. The idea was to create a temperate escape from the heat of Phnom Penh for colonialists in the 1920s. Today, many of the buildings lie abandoned, creating an eerie but enchanting atmosphere. The views from the top of the mountain are stunning and the ride through the lush jungle is a refreshing break from the city.

On our tour, we’ll drive out to Bokor Mountain on a motorbike. You can drive your own, or hop on the back of one as a passenger. The ride itself is half the fun – Kampot has beautiful, winding country roads. Our experienced and informative guide will lead us to some historical reference points: Lok Yeay Mao Monument, some deserted colonial homes, Popokvill waterfall, Sampov 5 Pagodas, a crumbling old French church, the recently renovated old casino, and the new casino that was recently built. You’ll have time to explore, and enjoy the lunch that’s included in your tour.

  • 11 am: Meet at Mad Monkey and head to Bokor Mountain
  • 12 pm – 4pm: Visit landmarks on top of Bokor Mountain, including a collapsed bridge, one of the largest statues in Cambodia and some abandoned French colonial houses.
