WHAT TO EXPECT

Kanchanaburi is but a few hours’ drive west from Bangkok, and you will be escorted to this incredible city by our expert local guide. This historic city is filled with interesting finds, two of which you will be visiting during this incredible tour. The first is Erawan National Park, the second ever national park to be established in Thailand. It is here you will swim and explore the seven-tiered waterfall that runs through the east side of the park. After cooling off in the emerald pools, you will join your group and guide for a delicious Thai lunch.

After filling up, you will then venture to the heart of the city where you will see first-hand the aftermath of the Japanese occupation of the city: the Bridge over the River Kwai. Prisoners of war and Asian labourers were forced to build this and the Thai-Burma Railway, and it is one of the most visited historic sites in the country. You have the option of visiting the JEATH War Museum afterwards, as well. Our local guide will be there throughout giving you even more information about the sites you visit.
